Overview

On The Verge Consulting (OTV) is a Klamath Falls marketing, branding, and digital strategy firm serving regional businesses, nonprofits, and education organizations across the Basin. They came to us with strong client work to point at and a clear positioning ("digital strategy, web design, and branding for the bold"), but a website that wasn't doing either of those things justice. Our job was to build a site that lets prospects feel the firm's bold, confident point of view from the first scroll, organizes their full service catalog so a regional business owner can immediately see "yes, that's what I need," and gives their portfolio of work the showcase it deserves. The result is a marketing-agency site that reads as the work of a marketing agency, with clear paths from interest to conversation.

  • Agency Website Design
  • Brand-Forward Visual System
  • Service Catalog Information Architecture
  • Portfolio & Case Study Showcase
  • Team & About Storytelling
  • Conversion-Focused Contact Flow
  • Local & Regional SEO
  • Performance & Mobile Optimization

The problem

OTV had a strong regional reputation and real client work to point at, but the website wasn't translating either into new business:

  • A Marketing Firm With a Quiet Website. OTV's positioning is bold, confident, and growth-oriented, but the previous web presence didn't sound or look the part. For a marketing and branding firm, the site itself is the proof of concept, and it needed to land that way the second a prospect arrived.
  • Client Work Buried Instead of Showcased. OTV had built marketing campaigns, brand systems, and digital platforms for regional clients like the Klamath County Fair and Klamath Water Users Association, but those wins weren't surfaced where prospects could see them. A consulting firm with no visible portfolio is hard to hire.
  • A Wide Service Catalog That Confused Buyers. OTV offers eight distinct services across strategy, brand, web, social, video, photo, AI, and nonprofit marketing. Without a clear information architecture, prospects couldn't quickly find the one thing they came for, so they left without a conversation.
  • Regional Visibility in a Spread-Out Market. OTV serves businesses across Klamath Falls, the wider Basin, and Southern Oregon. The site needed strong local SEO to surface for regional searches without locking the firm into a single zip code.
  • No Clear Path From Interest to a Real Conversation. Marketing engagements start with a conversation, not a checkout. The previous site lacked a confident, on-brand "Start Now" path that turned interested visitors into actual discovery calls.

OTV needed a site that looks like the work of a marketing agency, organizes a wide service catalog clearly, gives the portfolio real presence, and routes interested visitors into a conversation.

Our solution

We built OTV a website that leads with their point of view, organizes their full offering, and treats their portfolio as the centerpiece:

  • Bold, Brand-Forward Design Across Every Page. The new site fully expresses OTV's confident, growth-oriented identity with a strong visual system, intentional typography, and imagery from real client work. From the first scroll, a prospect understands this is a firm that takes brand seriously, because the site itself proves it.
    • Strong visual identity that reads as the work of a brand-led firm
    • Consistent typography and color system across every page
    • Real client imagery instead of stock placeholders
    • Confident, on-brand microcopy from headline to CTA
  • Service Catalog Organized for Real Buyers. We restructured OTV's eight services into a clean, scannable catalog with dedicated pages for the flagship offerings (Strategic Marketing, Brand Development, Digital Platforms, Social Media, Video Production). Each service page leads with the business outcome, not the deliverable, so a prospect knows immediately whether OTV is for them.
  • Portfolio That Actually Showcases the Work. We built a dedicated Work section that gives OTV's regional client engagements (Klamath County Fair, KWUA, Cascade Cup, and others) the real estate they deserve. Each piece of work is presented as a visible proof point a prospect can scan, not a footnote.
  • Team & Community Story That Builds Trust. For a regional consulting firm, the people and the community connection are the product. We gave the three principals' bios real space and added a Community Impact section that makes OTV's investment in the Basin visible without turning the site into an "About Us" monologue.
  • Clear "Start Now" Conversion Path. Every page routes confidently to a single, on-brand "Start Now" entry point. Instead of a generic contact form, the conversion flow is designed to start a real conversation, with structured fields that help OTV qualify and respond fast.
  • Regional SEO Tuned for the Basin. We implemented local and regional SEO targeting Klamath Falls, the wider Basin, and Southern Oregon, with structured data and location-aware copy that surfaces OTV for marketing, branding, and web design searches across their service area.

The process

  1. 01

    Discovery & Positioning Alignment

We started by getting clear on what OTV actually sells, who buys it, and how the firm wants to show up:

  2. 02

Information Architecture & Service Catalog Design

We restructured a wide service catalog into something a prospect can actually navigate:

  3. 03

    Brand-Forward Visual System

We built a visual system that lets the site itself prove OTV can brand:

  4. 04

    Portfolio & Team Storytelling

We built the sections that act as OTV's primary trust signals:

  5. 05

    Launch, SEO, and Conversion Tuning

We launched the site with the foundation OTV needs to grow:

Outcomes

The new OTV Consulting site looks and behaves like the work of the marketing firm it represents:

  • A Site That Proves the Firm Can Brand. The new design lands OTV's positioning instantly. Prospects can feel the firm's point of view from the first scroll, which for a brand and marketing agency is the single most important thing the website has to do.
  • Portfolio Surfaced as a Real Selling Tool. The Work section now gives OTV's regional client engagements the showcase they deserve. Sales conversations can start with "go look at our Work page" instead of "let me send you some examples by email."
  • Service Pages Built to Convert. Each flagship service has its own page leading with business outcomes, so prospects self-qualify and arrive at the contact form already knowing what they want. Discovery calls start further down the funnel.
  • One Confident Conversion Path. The "Start Now" flow is consistent across the site and built around the structured information OTV needs to respond fast. Inquiries arrive with enough context to triage immediately.
  • Regional Visibility Across the Basin. Local and regional SEO targets Klamath Falls and the wider Southern Oregon market, surfacing OTV for the marketing, branding, and web design searches that match their actual service area.
  • A Foundation That Grows With the Firm. The site is built so OTV can keep adding case studies, services, and team members without a redesign every time the business evolves. The portfolio is designed to expand, not to be replaced.
